The Plainville United Methodist Church runs the Plainville Living Bread Food Pantry as a ministry to Plainville residents in need of food assistance. Weekly distributions of food are available on every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:45 pm in a drive-through format in the church parking lot.
